Jonti makes it "Rain" in a parking lot in Los Angeles

After a long break Stones Throw's Jonti returns with new material, a second beautiful material to be exact, "Scrood" Feat. Steve Lacy being the first.

Luckily for us, if it wasn't for bossman Peanut Butter Wolf, "Rain" might have not seen it's light as PBW convinced Jonti to release the masterpiece because "Rain" was made few days after his grandfather passed away as the Sydney-based producer was overseas in LA when it happened.

Smells like a follow-up album is on its way after the releases of his 2011 debut album Twirligig and 2012 Sine and Moon.

Well... here's "Rain" filmed in a parking lot... somewhere in LA.

This version sounds 100% better.

The Spotlight's on Young RJ with "Huh?!" and "Wait" Feat. Pete Rock & Boldy James

If you're familiar with De La Soul's "Forever," if you've been following Slum Village for years and if you have then you know that this man officially became a member of the iconic group Slum Village... No doubt that the name Young RJ shouldn't sound unfamiliar to you!

Finally Young RJ is getting his solo shine in preparation of his debut album Blaq RoyalT. Not too long ago Young RJ put out the first single of the album "Huh?!" which definitely sent shivers down my spine as it sounds like a classic Slum Village joint. Can't talk about Young RJ without mentioning SV a couple of times, ya know?

The follow-up single from Blaq RoyalT, "Wait" Young RJ is accompanied with the legendary Pete Rock and Detroit's own Boldy James

Blaq RoyalT, a fitting title... Don't sleep.
